“Wrestling is Awesome” : South Park

Submitted on November 21, 2009 No Comment

Apparently, the guys from South Park go to a wrestling match at WWE and start backyard wrestling. The boys go to a match that is between Edge and John Cena and they decide to become wrestlers and they sign up for the lessons on wrestling and they come on the first day confused on what wrestling is while Cartman is amused to find that the real type of wrestling is kind of gay and the wrestling coach becomes angry with the boys and they leave to start their very own match. They set up a backyard wrestling match calling it WTF and as soon as the crowds come in their pickups and with their beers, many of the matches are along the Jerry Springer lines as Cartman in as the evil cheating girl.

South Park

The bad side is the people seem to think that the story is real and their matches start getting more and more attention by the crowds while very soon after the WWE is in contact and tells them they are going to send someone over with Ed McMahon himself. With this development, the boys begin to bring over new people to take the lead from the weaker wrestlers while the coach decides he will use this visit to take revenge against WWE. During the match, the coach shoots nothing less than a rocket launcher at Ed McMahon with Kenny getting hit and the coach gets in the ring and tells everyone about working for the WWE and its problems and thinking about the great performance by the coach Ed McMahon end up hiring him with the boys ending up fighting with each other.
