South Park 13.12 “The F Word” Recap

Submitted on December 15, 2009 No Comment

Another South Park episode which tackles a minor but amusing annoyance if Harley Davidson bikers. It has its share of humour, vulgar and otherwise. But that’s South Park for you! And while calling the bikers fags, it does get boring after a while. A natural outcome. Looking back, however, the episode was more about matt and Trey’s detestation of Harley bikers than about the difference of meanings of words used by the new and the old generation, the word in question being ‘f*g’. It was a pity that the episode got rather monotonous and banal.

South Park

The fact of the matter is that ‘gay’ is ingrained to be synonymous with f*g for a lot of people so the episode failed to have the intended impact. That is not even counting the dreary manner in which the issue was handled. After around 10 minutes, I was simply waiting for the episode to conclude. That is definitely not a good sign for South Park and certainly not expected or acceptable. In fact, even ‘Eat, Pray, Queef’ was better than this instalment. Therefore, this is possibly the most insipid part of season 13. Not cool South Park.
